Clean Slate Clinic provides a medically supervised home detox service (alcohol).

Treatment is provided over three stages – Preparation, Detox and Recovery and all appointments with clinicians are delivered via telehealth.

Stage 1: Preparation

Clients are allocated a dedicated nurse who will be with them throughout the program and prepare them for a safe and successful detox. Clients will have two nursing consultations and an appointment with a doctor during this phase. It takes around two weeks.

Stage 2: Detox

Provides a medically supervised detox at home, including the prescription of medications to minimize alcohol withdrawal symptoms, so that the detox is comfortable, and clients have the best chance of successfully completing detox. Clients will see their dedicated nurse at least once daily.

Stage 3: Recovery

For a full year client are supported post detox and encouraged to successfully meet with alcohol goals. Clients will have a post-detox review with a doctor and agree to a plan. This may include prescription of anti-craving medication and follow up appointments as required.
