The In-Home Withdrawal Service is for people aged over the age of 30 wishing to undergo withdrawal (detox) from low to moderate levels of substance dependence in the comfort of their own home. In addition to withdrawal support, clients will be provided with counselling before and after the withdrawal taking place.

Clients will be supported by a team that includes AOD Workers, AOD Nurses, and Peer Workers with the support of a GP overseeing the care.

In addition to Sonder staff, clients will be supported by a family member or friend during the in-home withdrawal period.
