The Alcohol and Other Drug (AOD) program is a free and confidential service funded by the Primary Health Network (PHN). The program provides therapeutic services to adults at risk or currently involved in the criminal justice system. The program provides counselling and case management services and utilises client centred approaches to reduce the harms associated with substance use. A Staged Service Delivery model is used which includes an intake and assessment, development of case plans and assistance to achieving goals identified. OARS also facilitates SMART (Self-Management and Recovery Training) groups.
